These Terms & Conditions are subject to change, from time to time at our sole discretion. We will notify you of amendments to these Terms & Conditions by posting them to this website. If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not access this website.


Satisfaction Guarantee


At Cosmopolit Maids, customer satisfaction is our focus. We are so confident that you will be completely satisfied with our house cleaning services.

If you feel the service you received was not up to your expectations, just let us know within 24-hours. We'll return during 2 business days to re-clean the area(s) at no additional charge.




You must make payment by cash or check before the housekeepers leave your premises.

For your convenience, we gladly accept regular account payments through PayPal, it's to be arranged no later than a day before the cleaning.


One time house cleaning requires a credit card payment or cash.


Payments made by PayPal for cleaning services are subject to a 3% surcharge.




Since cleaning is a very subjective service, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds to our customers.

We want you to be completely satisfied with Cosmopolit Maids. If for any reason you are unhappy with any area that we have cleaned, just email us or call us within 24 hours and we will gladly return within 2 business days and re-clean the areas you were not satisfied with free of charge. Our guarantee is offered to all of our customers, and is a part of our commitment to them.


Appointment Arrival Notice


If you wish to be present during the cleaning visit, please note that we have arrival windows of up to 2 hours. Many things can affect our ability to stay on schedule, for example: cancellations, lockouts or customers adding services. Please contact us if you would like to arrange an exact arrival time instead.

Leaving a key with Cosmopolit Maids is the most efficient way for you to provide our housekeepers access to your home.


How we protect your keys or alarm system codes?


All keys are organized in a numeric system and have no connection to your information or address. Keys and codes are kept in a secured and locked manner that only the management has access to.


Housekeeper Care


To provide a safe workplace for our employees, and we are determined to keep them safe, so they do not use ladders or move anything heavier than 30 lbs. These types of activities put our maids in danger of back injury or even damage to your home. If you would like us to clean behind appliances for example: furniture such as a sofa, a refrigerator, oven, please move it before to the cleaning visit to allow access to the area. Bleach and abrasive products are only used at your request and risk.




Gratuities are welcome not just for the obvious reason but also because they're seen as a sign of gratitude for the housekeeper's hard work. You may include your gratuity with your payment and we'll pass them along to the maids.




A $35 fee will be assessed in the event that our house cleaner associates arrive and are unable to access the premises. This fee is in place to cover expenses we incur for lost travel time and fuel.




You can cancel or reschedule the scheduled service by giving us at least a 24h notice. Failure to provide us with the needed notice will result with a $25 cancellation fee.

We reserve the right to refuse any cleaning job if the condition of the property is hazardous to the health and well being of our operatives.

We have the right to cancel or reschedule a service in cases where an accident or any unexpected circumstances have befallen the assigned housekeepers.

We will require you a notice period for cancellation of the regular cleaning service of the lesser of 2 visits or 4 weeks.




We are fully insured for your liability, employer's liability, and consequential loss of keys.

Our accidental damage insurance is subject to an excess of $250 and excludes damage caused by the use of abrasive products or the use and spillage of bleach. Please make your own insurance arrangements for the excess.

All our teams are fully trained and endeavor to treat your home and possessions with the greatest care.


Special Circumstances


Special requests for additional services should be made 2 days before a house cleaning service day. This ensures that these can be provided and payment agreed. However, we may be able to accommodate these on the service day. Please leave a note and we will invoice you accordingly.

If your scheduled service day falls on a public holiday, then this clean will be cancelled and you should contact us to re-arrange an alternative date.

We will treat your home with the greatest of care. Please inform us of any items that are irreplaceable, so that we can make special arrangements for care.


Returned Check Fee $35


Collections Fee 15%


Credit Card Fee 3%


You may not employ Cosmopolit Maids staff.


During the period of this agreement and for a period of 12 months after the termination of this agreement, the client will not employ any staffs that have been employed by Cosmopolit Maids. Cosmopolit Maids reserves the right to claim any damages, loss of earnings, recruitment costs, training costs and any court costs where appropriate, subject to a minimum of $500.
